has glosseng: (dj)ROYCE born Royce Lindsey is a professional producer & recording artist on the United Record Label. Royce grew up in Huntsville, Alabama. He started mixing at a local skate center and later at the night clubs. Later he worked with Donald Glaude and other Djs in his area who taught him the basics of turntablism. In 1991 Royce came back out after the nascent rave culture was emerging in New York. Royce played a few events locally and soon became a sought after DJ. It would be 2005 before anyone heard from Royce in the Dj industry when a radio station asks him to do a show called The Trance Mission. This show got the attention of Sirius Satellite Radio who later signed a contract to air the show. In 2006 Royce released a total of 5 singles and later he was voted the #46th DJ in the world by DJ Magazine’s "Top 100" poll, but he and other Djs had been excluded from the 2007 list entirely due to heavy voting irregularities. .
