It was popularized by Chicago Bears defensive coordinator Buddy Ryan, who later became head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles and Arizona Cardinals. As of 2009, it is used on a regular basis by one team, the New York Jets, coached by Ryan's son, Rex. |
