When executed properly, there is no appreciable change in altitude and the aircraft exits the maneuver on the same heading as it entered. This is commonly one of the first maneuvers taught in basic aerobatics courses.

Slow Roll) ist eine Kunstflugfigur aus dem Aresti-Katalog, bei der das Flugzeug einmal um seine Längsachse gerollt wird, wobei es die Flugrichtung beibehält. Die gesteuerte Rolle wird oft auch einfach nur Rolle genannt. Obwohl sie zur Grundausbildung im Kunstflug gehört, ist sie kein einfaches Manöver.
