has gloss	eng: The Telecommunications Research Establishment (TRE) was established in Worth Matravers, which is four miles to the west of Swanage, UK, in May 1940, as the central research group for RAF applications of radar. It moved to Malvern College, Worcestershire in May 1942 because of fears that the Germans might launch their own Biting-like commando raid against it if it had remained by the coast. At the end of the war TRE moved from Malvern College, to HMS Duke, a stokers' training school, also in Malvern.

has gloss	deu: Das britische Telecommunications Research Establishment (kurz TRE, deutsch: Entwicklungseinrichtung für Telekommunikation) wurde während des Zweiten Weltkrieges im Mai 1940 in Worth Matravers, zirka fünf Kilometer westlich von Swanage, als Forschungszentrum der britischen Luftwaffe (RAF) für die Weiterentwicklung der RADAR-Technik gegründet. Um deutschen Zugriffen, ähnlich der erfolgreichen britischen Operation Biting vorzubeugen, wurde es im August 1942 nach Malvern, Worcestershire umgesiedelt.
