The Palestinian city of Tulkarm lies to the southeast. Covering 1,000 dunams, it falls under the jurisdiction of the Hefer Valley Regional Council. The village is sandwiched between the Highway 6 highway which straddles the village to the west and the Green Line on its east side. In 2008, it had a population of 5,500, with a population growth of 2.0% per year.
