has gloss	ben: বেহালা দক্ষিণ কলকাতার একটি অঞ্চল। বেহালার উত্তরপ্রান্তে খিদিরপুর; পূর্বপ্রান্তে আলিপুর, নিউ আলিপুর ও টালিগঞ্জ; দক্ষিণে ঠাকুরপুকুর ও জোকা; এবং পশ্চিমে বজবজ অবস্থিত। এই অঞ্চলটি পূর্বে দক্ষিণ শহরতলি নামে একটি পৃথক পুরসভার অন্তর্ভুক্ত ছিল। ১৯৮৫ সালে পশ্চিমবঙ্গ সরকার গার্ডেনরিচ পুরসভা, যাদবপুরের সঙ্গে সঙ্গে দক্ষিণ শহরতলি পুরসভাটিকেও কলকাতা পৌরসংস্থার অন্তর্ভুক্ত করেন।
