It proposed an amendment to the California Constitution to remove obsolete references to municipal courts. It passed successfully with 4,750,367 (72.9%) votes in favor and 1,769,299 (27.1%) against. It was placed on the ballot by a vote of the California State Legislature on Assembly Constitutional Amendment 16 (ACA 16).
