has glosseng: Charfield Park is in the centre of Charfield, a small village in South Gloucestershire. The park is facing the memorial hall and the public toilets. Once a year a the village fair is held in the park, attracting people from Wotton-under-Edge and surrounding villages such as Cromhall. The park has two areas commonly used for football and cricket. There has recently been a skate park, (idea suggested by Ross Shimman and Mark Tippins) added with the money collected by the village, consisting of a miniramp, tabletop and two gridpoles. There is also a childs play area with a large slide mounted on a mound, swings and a climbing frame. There has been a new addition to the park of a new updated played area. This has been placed where the old play area used to be. The pavilion in the center of the park has also been recently painted.
