has gloss	eng: In Hindu mythology, Parashu (, Battle-Axe) was the choice weapon of Parashurama. Parashurama was one of the few Brahmin Gurus who were also masters of hand to hand combat. He was considered on par with Dronacharya, the Guru who instructed the Pandavas in the epic of the Mahabharata. Karna, half brother of Pandavas took instruction in weaponry from Parashurama, a disciple of lord Shiva, and was known to have terrible temper having lost his father to the evil Asuras. Parashurama in his anger got rid of the "Kshatriyas", the martial races of the earth, seven times over. The parashu was known to have super natural powers. It had four cutting edges, one on each end of the blade head and one on each end of the shaft. The parashu was also known as the most lethal close combat weapon of the epics.
