has glosseng: The Fluoride Action Network (FAN) is an international coalition dedicated to raising awareness of the health effects of fluoride ingestion (due to water fluoridation as well as other sources), which it believes to be problematic due to fluoride's toxicity. It was founded in May 2000 and is based in Canton, New York, United States. St. Lawrence University chemistry professor Dr. Paul Connett and his son Michael provided the impetus, and environmental organizations from twelve nations, scientists, and concerned citizens joined in its founding.
