Das staatliche Unternehmen ist der Betreiber des Seehafens von Banjul sowie der Betreiber der Fähren auf dem Gambia-Fluss. Dieser Dienst wurde 2001 von der Gambia Public Transport Corporation (GPTC) auf die GPA übertragen.
