Later, a chapel was built for students (at that time, it was catholic school) - today Blue chapel. Gymnasium was later named by former student Alexander Markuš - from this, formed an abbreviation GAMČA - Gymnázium Alexandra Markuša, Červenej armády (Gymnasium of Alexander Markuš, Red Army).
