has glosseng: Jiao Lung Waterfall (蛟龍瀑布) is the tallest measured waterfall in Taiwan, with a sheer plunge of . It is located on a cliff of Mount Da Ta near the popular resort of Alishan, in Chiayi County. Its closest city is the small hamlet of Fengshan. Predominantly seasonal, it has been known to have much reduced flow just several days after rain. Although often said to be the tallest waterfall in the Far East, this is not the case, as there are several waterfalls in mainland China, and possibly even Taiwan itself, that are even higher.

has glosszho: 蛟龙瀑布為一座因斷層形成的瀑布,也是台灣落差最大的瀑布。位於嘉義縣阿里山鄉豐山村東南方的塔山尾稜岩壁上,瀑布總落差600餘公尺。在五至九月雨季,水量大時,分成二層俯衝而下,水量少時則分四層流下山谷。最末層距地面約400公尺,佇立在豐山的空地上,便能清晰望見。每至夏日豐水期,瀑布氣勢磅礡,但在冬天枯水期,卻只能看見一大面光禿禿的岩壁。
