has gloss	eng: King Gale is a fictional character from the children's fantasy series The Chronicles of Narnia by C. S. Lewis. He was a King of Narnia and was the first Emperor of the Lone Islands. Gale was ninth in descent from King Frank, and therefore presumably the tenth king of Narnia. It was under King Gale that the Lone Islands became part of the lands of Narnia. Gale sailed to the Lone Islands and there slew a dragon. The people of the Lone Islands gave their country to him in gratitude.
