has gloss	eng: Since 2006, the Lille Comics Festival is the main British and American comic books convention in the north of France, held in November, on the first week end. It occurs in Lille, capital of French Flanders. It is also a gathering of the community of fans, back-issues dealers (drawn from French and Belgian areas) and notable comics creators (signing and drawing sessions). In 2007, for the first time, the Prix Seth Fisher (Seth Fisher Award, named after the artist Seth Fisher) was given to Alan Davis for his achievement in comic books. Attractions include action figures retailers, artwork selling, gaming and drawing lessons for children.

has gloss	fra: Le Lille Comics Festival a lieu la première fin de semaine de novembre à Lille. Créé en 2006 par lassociation Art Themis, il vise en premier lieu les passionnés de bandes dessinées anglo-saxonnes (les comics) mais attache également une certaine importance à lécole franco-belge et au manga. Outre, les dédicaces, il offre la possibilité de compléter ses collections grâce à la présence de vendeurs d'anciens, et parfois rares, numéros. Il y eut un précédent sur la métropole lilloise en 1989 et 1990, lors du festival organisé par Jean Wacquet, qui accueillit pour la première fois en France des auteurs de comics.
