has gloss | eng: Logan Peak, commonly referred to as Mount Logan, is a peak in the Bear River Mountains, a branch of the Wasatch Range. It is located 6 miles east southeast of Logan, Utah, in the Wasatch-Cache National Forest. The peak rises to an elevation of and is accessible by dirt road. This makes it quite easy to access. It is the only mountain in the Bear River Range to which a road runs to the top. This is because the summit houses a telecommunications tower so the road is an access road. It is not maintained in winter. It is a popular destination for hikers and bikers During the warmer months and for snowmobilers in the winter. |
