has gloss	eng: The Greek Maratos Brothers' first product was a motorcycle they built in Thessaloniki in the 1920s. It is not known whether there was any intent of producing the motorcycle, but the Brothers (who were expert motorcycle engineers), among other similar activities, were involved from 1945 in a more "industrial" process, transforming existing motorcycles into light trucks utilizing automobile parts (producing a type of vehicle then popular in Greece).
