Having lived most of her life in Lansing, Michigan, Robinson moved to Nampa in 2008. Robinson had gender reassignment surgery to become a woman in December of 1998 and is one of the identical twins that was featured on the Oprah Winfrey Show entitled "when One Identical Twin Changes Genders" in September of 2005.
