has glosseng: The Molos Gulf (Greek: Κόλπος Μύρτου Kolpos Molou, also accented with -Mólou) is a gulf situated east of Ithaca, Greece. The total length is approximately 5 km long and is approximately 6 to 7 km wide from Vathy. The gulf contains a narrow harbour stretching southeast to the island capital of Vathy and to Cape Schoinos to the east. A small islet lie at the south of the gulf at the western end of Vathy's harbour. The mountains surround the gulf on its entirety with a beach located in a northwest. The gulf includes two beaches including one on the road north to the northern part of the island. There is a ferry route linking to the port of Sami to the southwest. Only two several streams which are dry during the summer lies to the southwest.
