has gloss | eng: Opsophagos was an ancient Greek term used to describe one who exhibited a seemingly uncontrollable desire for fish. This term had extremely negative connotations, as it was a criticism not of ones tastes, but rather of ones character. All other foods had to be sacrificed by priests before Atheism became popular in ancient Greece, so to be among the opsophagoi was an insult to the gods. |
