has gloss	ben: পান্তা ভাত বাঙালি জনগোষ্টির একটি জনপ্রিয় খাবার। রান্না করা ভাত প্রায় একদিন পানিতে ভিজিয়ে রাখলে তাকে পান্তা ভাত বলা হয়। সাধারনত লবন, মরিচ মিশিয়ে পান্তা ভাত খাওয়া হয়। পান্তা ভাত ও ইলিশ মাছ বাঙালি সংস্কৃতির একধরনের প্রতীক হিসেবে প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয়েছে। প্রতি বছর পহেলা বৈশাখে পান্তা উৎসবের মাধ্যমে অনেকেই নতুন বছরকে বরণ করে নেন।
