| has gloss | mal: മലയാള ചലച്ചിത്ര സംവിധായകനും, സംഗീതജ്ഞനുമായിരുന്നു പവിത്രൻ. തൃശൂര്‍ ജില്ലയിൽ കുന്നംകുളത്തിനടുത്ത് കണ്ടാണിശ്ശേരിയില്‍ ജനിച്ചു. അടിയന്തരാവസ്ഥക്കാലത്ത് പി.എ.ബക്കറുടെ കബനീനദി ചുവന്നപ്പോള്‍ എന്ന ചിത്രം നിര്‍മിച്ചു (1975). യാരോ ഒരാള്‍ എന്ന പരീക്ഷണചിത്രവും നിര്‍മിക്കുകയുണ്ടായി. ഈ ചിത്രത്തിന്റെ സംഗീതസംവിധായകന്‍ അരവിന്ദനായിരുന്നു. തുടര്‍ന്ന് ടി.വി. ചന്ദ്രന്റെ കൃഷ്ണന്‍കുട്ടി (1980) എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിന്റെ സംഗീത സംവിധാനം നിര്‍വഹിച്ചു. ടി.വി. ചന്ദ്രനോടൊപ്പം സിനിമാനിര്‍മാണത്തില്‍ ബക്കറിന്റെ പാരമ്പര്യം നിലനിര്‍ത്തി അദ്ദേഹം. നര്‍ത്തകി കലാമണ്ഡലം ക്ഷേമാവതി പത്‌നിയാണ്. 2006 ഫെബ്രുവരി 13 ന്‌ പവിത്രൻ മരണമടഞ്ഞു. . ചലച്ചിത്ര നടി ഇവ പവിത്രൻ,ലക്ഷ്മി എന്നിവർ മക്കൾ.<ref name="hin-1"/> |
