has gloss | eng: Grubeša Branislavljević (died 1125) was the prince and ruler of Duklja and Bar from 1118-1125. After the Byzantines defeated King George in 1118, Grubeša assumed the Doclean throne as a Byzantine protégé. The Byzantines gave Grubeša the authority of reigning in Duklja, as well as commanding the army that battled against George. Grubeša reigned over Duklja until 1125 when he was defeated in Bar by George, with which he used Raškan aid to return to the Doclean throne. Grubeša either was killed or died in that battle against George in Bar in 1125. He was buried in the Church of Saint George in Bar. |
