has gloss | eng: "Rockawillie" is a song by Italian singer Sabrina. It was produced by Enrico Monti, Fulvio Zafret and Sergio Portaluri and released as a non-album single in 1994. Song information "Rockawillie" was Sabrina's first new piece of music after the hiatus that followed the release of her previous single, "Cover Model", in 1992. Originally, Sabrina and her new producer/manager, Enrico Monti, had recorded several songs in the English language (one track was called "Maybe Your Love"), so the thought must have been to release a new English-language album soon. Sabrina even performed some of these songs on TV in Spain, along with "Rockawillie". Somewhere along the way, the plan to release another English language album must have been changed, however. To this day, "Rockawillie" remains the only one of these songs to be issued commercially. Some of the other songs would turn up on her 1995 album Maschio Dove Sei, but in different musical versions and in the Italian language. |
