Het bedrijf heeft in 1984 het predicaat Koninklijk verworven. Er worden luxe zeil- en motorjachten gebouwd met een lengte tussen de 100 en 300 voet (30 - 90 meter). Het is al enkele generaties een familiebedrijf met een noemenswaardig aandeel in het Nederlandse maritieme erfgoed. Het bedrijf bouwt in opdracht jachten op haar werf in Vollenhove. Het bouwen vind plaats op de speciaal ontworpen werf die een oppervlakte beslaat van 30.000 m².
