The ferry known as South Ferry traveled to South Ferry, Manhattan. The Long Island Rail Roads original main line through the Cobble Hill Tunnel, later the Atlantic Avenue Railroads streetcar line, served South Ferry. In the 20th and early 21st centuries, the site served cargo as Brooklyn Piers 5 and 6. |
