The turbine was installed in March 2005 and is located on the summit of Craigend Hill (Ordnance Survey Grid 245847E / 670650N), situated SSW from the school. Full planning permission was granted for the installation of the wind turbine with the approval of BAA Limited and the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds. |
