has gloss	rus: Торч, тарч (, от — щит; др.-в.-нем. zarge ) — название щитов, применяемых в европейской армии с XIII по XVI век. Это вогнутые щиты различной формы, с двумя ременными петлями снутри, одна из которых одевалась на предплечье с помощью застёжки, а вторая зажималась в ладони. На правой стороне часто делался вырез, предназначенный для фиксации копья. Преимущественно были цельножелезными, либо деревянными с железным покрытием. С XV века используются на турнирах.
