has gloss	eng: The Great Commotion is a monthly newsletter with anarchist political leanings based in Norwich, England. It was founded in late 2005 by members of Norwich Anarchists and Norwich Anarchist Students., although it remains a purely independent publication with no official links to either group, excluding the fact that the official Great Commotion website was hosted by Norwich Anarchist Students for a brief period. The newsletter made its debut at the Raise Your Banners Festival of Political Song on 12 November 2005. Since then the paper has covered various local campaigns, including a local campaign to save local music venues, strikes, Norwich City Council government policies and much more. In October, The Great Commotion was the only media outlet to publish an interview with Midas, the Graffiti artist who made national headlines by painting several of the city's postboxes.
