| has gloss | nld: Een scriptie, thesis of (eind-)verhandeling is een wetenschappelijk opstel dat een verplicht onderdeel vormt van een academische opleiding of HBO-opleiding. Hoewel het belang van de scriptie en de eisen die er aan worden gesteld per universiteit of hogeschool en per studierichting verschillen, is de scriptie meestal het laatste onderdeel van de opleiding. Na het voltooien van de scriptie aan de universiteit studeert men af en verkrijgt men de academische graad doctorandus (Nederland), licentiaat (België), ingenieur of Master. Meestal is de scriptie een verhandeling over een bepaald onderwerp naar aanleiding van eigen (literatuur)onderzoek. In de bachelor-masterstructuur is het een verplicht onderdeel van de masterstudie en heet nu masterproef/masterthesis (België), of masterscriptie (Nederland). |
