has gloss | eng: Warner elevator row is a row of grain elevators with a total of six elevators all standing in a row from south to north, alongside the Canadian Pacific Railway, that travels from Great Falls, Montana to Lethbridge, Alberta, on the east entrance of the village of Warner, Alberta, Canada. Because so many grain elevators have been torn down in Canada only two elevator rows have survived partial demolition if not complete demolition, like Ponoka, Alberta which once had a total of six elevators, completely destroyed February of 2002. Warner is one of the two last in Canada with a total of six elevators, the other being, Inglis, Manitoba with a total of four elevators, making these two elevator the last surviving "elevator rows" in all of Canada. Warner's elevators have not been protected, but the elevators in Inglis elevators have been protected as National Historic Sites of Canada. |
