has gloss	eng: The Washington Quarter is a version of the U.S Quarter that has been minted since 1932, with the exception of 1933. The obverse has had two different designs. The first one was in mint from 1932-1998. A new design was put out in 1999 for the State Quarters. It was modified by William Cousins.
