Il assure également l’administration financière du personnel militaire de la marine, élabore la réglementation et a la charge de la vérification (audit) des formations de la marine. Le commissariat de la marine exerce enfin une fonction générale d’expertise juridique au profit de la marine : élaboration des textes relatifs au droit de la mer, participation au soutien juridique des opérations navales, instruction de dossiers de contentieux….Le corps des officiers du service du commissariat de la marine est aujourd’hui constitué d’environ 450 officiers (commissaires de la marine et officiers du corps technique et administratif de la marine) dont 60% environ servent directement dans les forces (bâtiments, états-majors embarqués ou à terre). |
