has gloss	eng: The Right Reverend Arthur Chandler MA was Bishop of Bloemfontein from 1902 until 1920.Born in 1860, he was educated at Marlborough and University College, Oxford, and ordained in 1883 . He began his career as Chaplain to Brasenose College, Oxford and then the Bishop of Salisbury. He was Rector of Poplar from 1891 until 1901 when he ascended to the Episcopate . In retirement he lived in Petersfield , where he died on 5 November, 1939 . References
