He composed the background music to The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1923 film) and The Private Life of Helen Troy (1927). He synchronized three films: A Close Call, Barnyard Melody and Tuning In, all three are from year 1929. He was the conductor of the background music orchestry of Steamboat Willie, the first Mickey Mouse -short film and the first sound cartoon film.
