e/Chang (rollercoaster)

Information
has gloss	eng: Chang, meaning Long in Mandarin Chinese, was a Bolliger & Mabillard-built stand-up roller coaster at Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom in Louisville, Kentucky. At the time it opened, it set the world records for a stand-up coaster in the categories of height, drop, speed, length, and number of inversions. All of these records had eclipsed those of Mantis, which had opened at Cedar Point the year before, and would be eclipsed by those of Riddler’s Revenge, which opened at Six Flags Magic Mountain a year later. Its inversions, in order, are: a tall vertical loop, tall diving loop, tall oblique loop, and two corkscrews after the block brake. Chang's layout was almost a mirror image of that ofMantis, but was slightly taller and faster and with an extra corkscrew toward the end. Chang had a total of three different paint schemes from 1997 to 2009. In 1997 and 1998, Chang was painted entirely yellow. In 1999, the ride was repainted with lime green track and purple supports. In 2006, the ride was repainted once more with yellow track and blue supports.
