has gloss	eng: Crown lengthening is a surgical procedure performed by a dentist to expose a greater amount of tooth structure for the purpose of subsequently restoring the tooth prosthetically. This is done by incising the gingival tissue around a tooth and, after temporarily displacing the soft tissue, predictably removing a given height of alveolar bone from the circumference of the tooth or teeth being operated on. While many general dentists perform this procedure, they frequently refer such cases to periodontists.

has gloss	fas: افزایش طول تاج (انگلیسی: Crown Lengthening) نوعی از جراحی‌های ترمیمی دهان و دندان می‌باشد که طی آن طول تاج دندان را با شکافتن، به پایین کشیدن و یا برداشتن بافت لثه‌ای و تراشیدن بافت استخوانی اطراف آن افزایش می‌دهند تا انجام ادامهٔ درمان بر روی دندان امکانپذیر گردد. این عمل بعضاً با عنوان کلی‌تر جراحی لثه نیز شناخته می‌شود.
