She debuted in the serials first episode in 1985 as a stripper for Des Clarkes bucks party. After a dramatic encounter with Des's fiancee the marriage was off and Daphne moved in with Des as a flatmate. Daphne dated both Shane Ramsay and Paul Robinson.
