has gloss	eng: Daybreak was an early morning news programme on the former UK breakfast station TV-am. It ran from 06:00 to 07:00 with an emphasis on news stories. The first edition was broadcast on the TV-am launch date of 1 February 1983 and was presented by Robert Kee, and also Angela Rippon. As TV-am's viewing figures fell after its launch, Daybreak was initially cut back to 30 minutes and finally dropped when the station changed its programming in search of higher ratings.
