Drill Now." is an American political slogan coined on May 20, 2008 by former speaker of the House, Newt Gingrich and his American Solutions organization to advocate for increased use of America's domestic energy resources to help lower the cost of oil. The effort has drawn over 1.4 million petition signers and spawned a series of other web sites and forced candidates and elected officials including President George W. Bush, Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, and John McCain to publicly indicate their position on drilling.
