has gloss	eng: The Hayakawas S-F Magazine Readers Award is an award chosen annually by the readers of Hayakawas S-F Magazine for the best Japanese short story, illustrator, and foreign short story. The honor has been awarded since 1989. Most likely this is due to the decline of science-fiction known as the Wintery Age (冬の時代 Fuyu no Jidai) that began in the late 80s.
