has gloss | eng: The House of Yahweh (Hebrew בית יהוה), according to the Bible, is the place that God stated that after the children of Israel had come into the Promised land that He would chose one place out of all of the tribes to place His name there. That location is where the name of Yahweh is sat there so that all of Israel would go to offer their offers (Ex 20:22-24; Deut. 12:4-7). It was there that all of the children of Israel in the Torah were commanded to keep their appointed festivals (Deut 16:16) and the first of the ground is to come to the house of Yahweh (Ex 23:19). All for the purpose that the children of Israel would learn to fear Yahweh always (De:14:23: “And thou shalt eat before the LORD thy God, in the place which he shall choose to place his name there, the tithe of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the firstlings of thy herds and of thy flocks; that thou mayest learn to fear the LORD thy God... |
