has gloss	eng: Jos. Debono Jewellers is one of the largest and long standing jewellers in Malta. The organisation was founded by Carmelo Debono in 1899 when there were only a handful of jewellers in Malta. Joseph Debono (Carmelos son) continued the business, but went through a hard time having to survive the war, and lost two outlets together with the bulk of the stock. The company is currently in its third generation, and run by Josephs three sons.
