has gloss	eng: Kids for World Health (KFWH) was established entirely by kids with the support of their advisors for the purpose of contributing to the effort to eliminate Trypanosomiasis and Sleeping Sickness within the affected countries of Africa, and for raising awareness of all neglected diseases. The organization was founded in 2001 in Larchmont, New York, as a reaction to the plight of the 500,000 African people who are infected with diseases and the thousands who die annually, knowing that a cure exists in the western world, but for them has been unattainable. Kids for World Health is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation with a humanitarian objective, providing tax-free status under New York State law for activities that meet its objectives.
