has gloss	eng: LAIM :An acronym for League Average Inning Muncher. A LAIM is a pitcher who often comes into a game after the starter has departed and the team may be several runs behind. A LAIM is counted on to consume innings, perhaps allowing his team to get back into the game but not necessarily shutting down the opposition. The term is attributed to baseball blogger Travis Nelson, but is used by other writers as well.
