has gloss	eng: Longtail is a type of bicycle (specifically a type of longbike) with a longer frame wheel base at the rear rather than at the front. It can be used for cargo or freight and unlike some longbikes (such as the Velorbis LongJohn) which are longer at the front, longtails can safely carry passengers. They are sometimes called sports utility bikes. Some, but not all longtails adhere to LongTail (note the capitalization) which is an open-source standard designed by Xtracycle. This has helped individuals to build longtail bikes themselves such as the Xtravois.
