It is currently used for football matches and is the home ground of the local football club Minyor Pernik. The stadium has a capacity of 8,000 spectators and it was officially inaugurated on May 30, 1954. *The stadium initially held a capacity of 20,000 spectators, but in August, 2009, the owners of the club decided to rebuilt the whole western stand, and the capacity was reduced to 8,000 spectators to obtain a license by the Bulgarian Football Union. |
