has gloss	eng: Mohammed Daoud was a Moroccan writer and historian and a major nationalist in the Spanish occupied Northern Morocco during its struggle for independence. He is the author of the 12 volume Tarikh Titwan (History of Tetouan) and publisher of the magazin Es-Salam. In 1923 he became the head of a secondary school founded by El Haj Abdesselam Bennouna. He was a prominent member of the Human Rights League in Tetouan and the Hispano-Musulmane Association.
