has glosseng: The National Certificate of Educational Achievement (NCEA) is the official secondary school qualification in New Zealand. It is normally offered to senior secondary school students—Year 11 through to Year 13. NCEA uses criterion or standard-based assessment. NCEA assessment is administered both at the school level (internal assessment), and at a national level (external assessment, usually examinations). It has three levels, each generally studied in each of the three final school years; each is registered on the National Qualifications Framework at levels 1 through 3 respectively.
