Information
has glosseng: Nimrod campers are a brand of pull-behind pop-up campers manufactured by Ward Manufacturing from approximately 1960-1970. The type of campers are also known as and are a particular type of travel trailer. Early models, such as the Nimrod Rivera, included canvas tent tops and weighed as little as 700 lbs, while later models were heavier hard top. Models were all two-wheel pull-behind trailer campers. The ends (or sides) of the units pulled out to extend the interior size of the campers. Each pull-out end served as a double bed. Tent-top models were designed so the tent canopy popped-up as each end was pulled out. Some models accommodated an optional "family room" that zipped onto the side of the camper.
